OKAY people! We have paypal! You can use my julie@twistpopmedia.com email for paypal, to buy a shirt. Please put your size and mailing address in the comments, or email me. I’m soooo happy some people are already buying shirts! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Yay! Finally, after years of promising you we’ll be a real club with the T-Shirts to prove it, I finally have a big box of them in my living room!
I ordered 100 Organic Cotton/Bamboo shirts from ONNO, a company in Colorado, and had Printwear of Oregon, here in Eugene, print the logo on them.
I picked this blend of shirt because it’s soft as a baby’s bottom, and also a great tech shirt, meaning it whisks away the sweat from your body, whether you’re running, walking, gardening, sleeping or having hot-flashes at 3:00 a.m. Just sayin’.
I also like the sustainable fiber thing. ONNO says this:
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth. It produces more oxygen than trees, grows in most climates, and requires very little water to grow.
Organic Cotton is grown on fields that have been chemical free for at least three years. Regular cotton consumes 25% of the world’s pesticides (that’s two billion pounds).
I’m selling these shirts for $24. I’m offering free shipping on this first run. I can order more as soon as I sell at least 50 shirts. I’m working on getting my pay pal up and running on the site, but I do have an account. If you’d rather pay by check let me know asap. I’ll hold a shirt for you until I receive the check, then ship it when the check clears.
I have a limited quantity at the moment (yes, I have to buy them all up front!) and here are the sizes I have available:
Small – 10
Medium – 20
Large – 40
Extra Large – 20
XXL – 10
I will take some pictures on some models of different sizes and show you soon. I am a size 14 and I’m wearing a size large in this picture. I like the length, which does not bunch up, and a closer fit for running.
Let me know if you want one in the comments, and/or email me at julieanderson (at) hotmail (dot) com with the words “I want a shirt!” in the subject line. First ask, first get!
Thanks so much for your support!
Love,
@juliejulie
